Our Work
Pink Alliance is a non-profit LGBT+ organization, whose mission is to advance dignity, acceptance and equality for people of different sexual orientations and gender identities in Hong Kong through community engagement and public education.
We were built on the momentum created by the Tongzhi Community Joint Meeting (TCJM), an alliance of LGBT+ groups formed in 1999 on the back of Hong Kong’s first LGBT+ festival.
In 2010, we launched our first IDAHOT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia & Transphobia) and the following year our very first Pink Season.
We underwent restructuring in 2011 and became known as Pink Alliance. In 2017, we reached another milestone and became a registered charity.
Pink Alliance is run solely by volunteers from all walks of life. We come together to build a more inclusive society for people of different sexual orientations and gender identities.
